Mt. Jampayang is one of the 3 holy mountains in Yading Park. It is south to Milk Lake and 5-color Lake, east to Snake Lake and west to Mt. Chenadorje. Jampayang in Tibetan it means “Manjushri Bodhisattva, located at the junction of Muli Tibetan Autonomous County of Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province and Daocheng County of Ganzi Prefecture. It is the southern peak of the “Three Buddhas” Snow Mountain, with an altitude of 5958 meters. The head of the “Three Masters” Snow Mountain. Manjushri is the embodiment of wisdom in Buddhism. This mountain is surrounded by a group of wide canyons, the forests, meadows, streams.
